Two (2) seats were opened with the expiration of two Commission
terms in 2018. Terms on the Commission are four-year periods, with no term limits. Individuals serving on the Commission must also apply to be considered for re-appointment.

Interviews with interested applicants are typically held before a City Screening Committee, with recommendations forwarded to the City Council for consideration and appointment(s) at a regular City Council meeting. Applicants must be registered voters of the City of Grover Beach. Applications are available at the City Clerk's Office, Grover Beach City Hall, 154 South Eighth Street, Grover Beach, or click here to download an application.
