Grover Beach is excited to celebrate the Halloween season with its Trunk or Treat event on October 27! This exciting event, put on by the City and Grover Beach Rotary Club, will take place in Ramona Garden Park and showcase an unforgettable evening of Halloween festivities. This event has something for everyone, from the highly anticipated Carved Pumpkin Competition to engaging games and a safe environment for trick-or-treating. The City invites the entire community to join us for this spooktacular celebration.
“This event is a fantastic celebration of our community's creativity and Halloween spirit,” said Grover Beach Mayor Karen Bright. “It's a wonderful opportunity for families and businesses to come together and enjoy a night of safe, festive fun.”
Festivities begin at 5 p.m. and continue until dark. Attendees are encouraged to wear a costume. Participants are encouraged to bring their expertly carved pumpkins for the Carved Pumpkin Competition. To enter the contest, pumpkins must be submitted to the judging desk by 5:30 p.m. Families with children aged six or under are invited to bring decorated pumpkins, providing our youngest residents with a platform to showcase their artistic talents. Local businesses are also encouraged to participate.
In addition to the annual Carved Pumpkin Competition, the event will feature a Trunk or Treat activity where families and kids can participate in a secure and enjoyable trick-or-treating experience, complete with candy-filled trunks.
“At the heart of Trunk or Treat is our commitment to producing safe community experiences for all,” said Grover Beach City Manager Matthew Bronson. “It's a way for families to mark Halloween in a secure environment, and we're excited to be a part of this wonderful experience to promote seasonal fun.”
